The Diamond Audio MICRO5V2 is a 5-channel full range Class D amplifier that powers your entire system — front speakers, rear speakers, and subwoofer — from a single, compact unit. It's the refined version of the MICRO5 platform, adding a high-density aluminum alloy chassis, balanced differential inputs, and active thermal management for installs where you need more than just raw output.

Power delivery is strong across the board: 150W x 4 + 350W x 1 at 2 ohms, or 80W x 4 + 250W x 1 at 4 ohms. The sub channel gets a meaningful bump over the base MICRO5 platform, and the Class D design keeps efficiency high so your electrical system isn't working overtime to keep up.

Where the MICRO5V2 separates itself is in signal quality and thermal resilience. Balanced differential inputs reject noise at the source — no ground loops, no alternator whine, just clean signal from input to speaker. Rollback and Thermal Protection actively manages output under heat stress, keeping the amp playing instead of shutting down mid-session. The aluminum alloy chassis does the heavy lifting on heat dissipation, so the protection circuitry rarely needs to intervene.

Crossover tuning is split and purposeful: a fixed 70Hz HPF (12dB/oct) on front and rear channels keeps low-end distortion out of your full-range speakers, while a variable 25–250Hz LPF at a steeper 24dB/oct slope on the sub channel gives you tight, precise bass rolloff. The included remote bass knob lets you dial sub level on the fly without touching the amp.

Selectable REM, VOX, and DC turn-on modes handle integration with factory or aftermarket head units, and selectable 3CH or 5CH input modes give you flexibility depending on your source. At 1.46" mounting depth, it fits where full-size amps simply won't.
