Description
Nagy’s Customs Monster-Mega 10" Harley-Davidson Subwoofer / MidBass Adapter Rings — 1998–Present
(Patent Pending)
The Monster-Mega rings are Nagy’s oversized solution for large-basket 10" subwoofers and midbass drivers that simply don’t fit standard adapter rings. Designed to sit at the shock bump in Harley-Davidson saddlebags on 1998 and newer models, these rings accommodate larger bolt patterns and deeper baskets — no more removing gaskets, trimming the speaker basket, or forcing a fit. Sold in pairs with speaker and ring mounting hardware included.
Specifications
- Driver size: 10" subwoofer or midbass (large basket)
- Outer diameter (OD): 11.02"
- Mounting diameter: 9.40"
- Mount position: Shock bump location inside saddlebag
- Compatible bolt patterns: Any subwoofer or midbass with a bolt pattern larger than 9.4"
- JL Audio TW3 compatible: Can be opened up to fit the JLTW3; speaker can be clocked in any position
- Nagy’s Toppers compatible: Works with Nagy’s toppers with minor trimming
- Hardware included: Speaker and ring mounting screws (no threaded inserts)
- Fitment: Harley-Davidson 1998–Present
- Sold in pairs
Important Fitment Note
These rings will NOT fit a 9" basket subwoofer or midbass. They are designed specifically for large-basket drivers with bolt patterns exceeding 9.4". If you’re running a standard 9" basket sub, see our other 10" adapter ring options.
Installation Notes
- Screws only included — threaded inserts not included and must be purchased separately if needed
- Bonding the adapter to the saddlebag with a 2-part epoxy (such as 3M 08115) is recommended for a permanent, rattle-free install
- Some fitting may be required depending on bag manufacturer — minor sanding or silicone caulk to fill small gaps may be needed
- Using OEM stock bags or quality aftermarket bags will achieve the easiest and best results
- Some knowledge of bodywork is recommended, as installation requires cutting the saddlebag
