The DC Audio Level 5 Elite 15" Subwoofer is a hand-built, USA-made SPL-focused driver in the M6 Elite lineage (2025 release), engineered for extreme bass authority with a 3500W RMS / 7000W peak rating and a robust 3.5" voice coil. • Power Handling: 3500 Watts RMS / 7000 Watts peak. In real-world use, this capacity supports powerful, sustained bass with ample headroom when paired with a suitable amplifier and proper enclosure.
• Cone & Surround: Kraft pulp fiber reinforced cone with a wide long-throw foam surround. This combination strengthens rigidity and excursion capability for deep bass with controlled cone motion.
• Voice Coil & Former: 3.5" hi-temp aluminum voice coil wound on a black anodized aluminum former with high-current input strips. Heavy-duty winding and conductor geometry enable high current handling and reduced distortion at high power.
• Frame & Motor Assembly: Cast DC Series aluminum black frame with a FEA-optimized, fully CNC-machined motor assembly and machined cooling vents. Built for stiffness, cooling efficiency, and precise alignment under stress.
• Lead Wires & Termination: 8 AWG OFC direct leads for low resistance during high-power operation and reliable endurance in rugged installations.
• Suspension & Spiders: 10" OD spaced spiders supporting the voice coil, contributing to stable control under extreme excursion.
