The Hifonics HEW12D4S ELITE Series 12 inch shallow mount subwoofer is engineered to deliver powerful bass performance in compact spaces. It features dual 4 ohm 3-inch high-temperature voice coils paired with a vented aluminum former to maximize heat dissipation and maintain thermal stability.
Built with a lightweight woven fiber cone and UV-treated foam surround, this subwoofer provides rapid transient response and durability against sun exposure. A specialized poly-cotton spider minimizes distortion while ensuring reliable high-power handling over extended listening periods.
The subwoofer is constructed on a powder-coated stamped steel basket designed with a low mounting depth of 8.1 cm to preserve cargo room. Stainless nickel-plated push-and-insert terminals provide a secure, corrosion-resistant electrical connection for sealed enclosure installations.
