The Hifonics BRUTUS BG-1000.1 is a high-performance Super D Class mono block car audio amplifier delivering up to 1000 watts of power. Engineered with a dual toroidal transformer PWM power supply and clean 4-layer PCB construction, it provides robust power delivery with minimal distortion.
Thermal efficiency is maintained through a mass-loaded extruded aluminum heat sink and low-EMI MOSFET output devices. The preamplifier stage features nickel-plated RCA inputs, a variable 12dB electronic crossover, switched subsonic filtering, and onboard bass boost for precise frequency shaping.
Angled molded terminals accommodate 4 AWG power wire and 12 AWG speaker connections for clean cable routing. Multi-mode stylized LED badging functions as an active VU meter for gain matching, backed by integrated triple-protection circuitry and an included wired bass remote.
