We've carried PowerBass for years — and if you've built a system with us, you already know what the brand is capable of. Powerful amplifiers, hard-hitting subwoofers, and speakers that punch well above their price point. But PowerBass has been quietly building something new, and we're going all-in on it: the OE Series OEM Direct-Fit Replacement Speaker lineup.
This isn't just another aftermarket speaker line. The PowerBass OE Series is engineered from the ground up to replace your factory speakers with zero modification — no custom brackets, no wire splicing, no drilling. Just a direct drop-in upgrade that sounds dramatically better than what came from the factory.
Why OEM Direct-Fit Matters
Most car audio upgrades require some level of modification — adapter rings, wiring harnesses you have to source separately, or cutting into factory panels. For a lot of drivers, that's a dealbreaker. The PowerBass OE Series eliminates all of that. Every kit ships with vehicle-specific nylon OEM mounting adapters and factory plug-and-play wiring harnesses that match your car's existing connectors and bolt patterns exactly.
The result is a speaker upgrade that installs in the same time it takes to swap a factory speaker — and sounds like a completely different vehicle when you're done.
Two Flavors: Coaxial and Component
The OE Series comes in two configurations to match how your factory audio system was designed.
OEM Direct-Fit Coaxial Speakers
The coaxial lineup combines a dedicated woofer and integrated silk dome tweeter in a single drop-in unit. These are the easiest possible upgrade — pull the factory speaker, plug in the OE Series coaxial, and you're done. Available in 4", 6.5", and 6x9" sizes with both 2-ohm and 4-ohm impedance options, covering Tesla, Chevy/GMC, Toyota/Lexus, Nissan/Infiniti, Ford/Lincoln, and Jeep/Chrysler platforms. Thin-mount 6x9" variants are also available for shallow door pockets and rear deck applications in Chrysler, Dodge, RAM, and Nissan vehicles.
OEM Direct-Fit Component Speaker Systems
For vehicles that came with a factory component setup — or for drivers who want the best possible soundstaging — the OE Series component systems pair a dedicated woofer with a separate silk dome tweeter for superior frequency separation and imaging. The same plug-and-play installation applies: vehicle-specific adapters, factory wiring harnesses, no modification required. Component kits are available in 4", 6.5", 6x9", and 8" sizes, including a Tesla-specific center channel kit and a three-way system for the VW T5/T5.1 Transporter.
Impedance-Matched for Your Factory Amp
One of the most overlooked details in OEM speaker upgrades is impedance. Many premium factory audio systems — particularly in GM, Nissan, and Infiniti vehicles — run 2-ohm speaker loads instead of the standard 4-ohm. Dropping a 4-ohm aftermarket speaker into a 2-ohm system causes volume and tonal balance issues that can make your upgrade sound worse than stock. PowerBass addresses this directly by offering both 2-ohm and 4-ohm variants across the OE Series lineup, so you get the right impedance match for your specific factory amplifier every time.
What's in the Box
Every PowerBass OE Series kit includes the speakers themselves plus everything you need for a clean, factory-correct install: vehicle-specific nylon OEM mounting adapters, factory plug-and-play wiring harnesses, and all necessary hardware. No trips to the parts store, no improvising — just a complete kit designed for your exact vehicle.
Vehicle Coverage
The OE Series currently covers a wide and growing range of platforms including Tesla Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck, Chevrolet and GMC trucks and SUVs, Toyota, Lexus, and Scion, Nissan and Infiniti, Ford and Lincoln, Jeep and Chrysler, and Volkswagen T5/T5.1 Transporter. Before purchasing, verify your vehicle's speaker size, impedance, and trim package to ensure proper fitment.
