AudioControl Enters the Wire & Accessory Market with Epic and Studio Series

AudioControl is making its first move into the wire and accessories market with two new product lines: the Epic Series and the Studio Series. The launch marks a significant expansion for the brand — and the first time AudioControl has brought wire and installation accessories under its own name within the Stinger family.

Both lines were developed in-house from the ground up rather than rebranded from existing stock. AudioControl had been fielding requests for a wire line from dealers as far back as 2019, but early concepts didn't meet the company's standards and were shelved until now. The result is a purpose-built lineup that reflects AudioControl's approach to audio system performance.

Epic Series — Built for the Epic Amplifier Lineup

The Epic Series is designed to pair with AudioControl's Epic amplifiers and targets a strong value price point without cutting corners on the details that matter.

  • RCA cables in 2, 4, and 6-channel configurations, in lengths from 1.5 ft to 20 ft
  • Amplifier wiring kits in 8 gauge, 4 gauge, and 1/0 gauge
  • 100% OFC cable — not CCA
  • No plastic bridge between channels — cables can be split and run separately
  • Directional RCAs with a built-in ground shunt to route noise away from the amplifier
  • 1-year warranty, matching the Epic amplifier warranty

Studio Series — Built for Altitude and LC7i Pro Builds

The Studio Series is the premium tier, engineered to match AudioControl's Altitude and LC7i Pro products. It brings more configuration options and a smarter approach to power distribution.

  • RCA cables in 2, 4, and 6-channel configurations plus Y adapters, same length range as Epic
  • A reversible fuse and distribution module — configurable as a fuse holder, ground block, or power distribution block, and linkable for larger builds
  • Accepts both MIDI/AFS style and ANL style fuses
  • Kits include an install accessories pack with heat shrink, ferrules, ring terminals, and mounting hardware
  • Two ground cables per kit — one sized for the amplifier location, one shorter cable for chassis or engine bay grounding
  • Tiered warranty: 1 year retail purchase / 2 years with dealer installation / 3 years with dealer installation using AudioControl wire

What This Isn't

A few things worth noting: AudioControl has no current plans to sell wire on spools — kits will be the only option at launch unless dealer demand changes that. The Epic and Studio lines are also not replacing existing Stinger wire products, which remain unchanged.

Availability

Product is expected to arrive in AudioControl's warehouse in mid-to-late August, with retail availability following within about a week. We'll have more details on pricing and availability as they're confirmed.
